Body 3
After wrapping up the process of filming, the final step of making a movie is post-production which consists of editing shots, sound mixing, and putting CGI. As written in
Calculus Concepts and Contexts, convergence is a value that approaches to
certain value. (Jewette, Serway). As reported by Batman
News, a superhero movie, 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'
finished filming and began post-production, which will involve scoring and
editing. When film editor is handed over a whole film, he or she begins to contemplate what kind of editing skill he or she will use and what scene should be discarded to make the film consistent. After determining what to do in the editing process, the editor creates few editions and pick one for actual release. The sound mixing process also progress in the post-production. To make the film more absorbent, the score which is familiar to normal people as word soundtrack, is added into the screen. If the voice of an actor is considered too ambiguous for audiences to understand, the editor record actor's voice and mix it with what was recorded from the filming process. Post-production also involves realizing scene which is impossible to film in the filming process. The editor puts computer graphics to make a film more realistic and persuasive. I can infer that the whole process of post-production is similar to the convergence due to the reason that during the post-production the movie, like convergence, reaches what the film supposed to be.
